RARE TYPE I Original Vintage Photo Still (8x10")




We recently acquired a  Collection of Rare Vintage Promotional Photo stills for the Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece Classic ,  "PSYCHO".

These are actual Original Promotional still photos issued by Paramount to promote this Hitchcock classic in 1960.  Each photo has the Copyright, date and paramount release on bottom.   These are NOT reproductions but original TYPE 1 1960 photos.    This photo is s 1965 Re-release. 

Most are scenes that were never seen on any of the lobby cards or movie posters. Extraordinary vintage historic photos.

Note: In Person the photos have a beautiful slight vintage sepia tone that doesnt show up in the digital images.  But, you'll be pleased when you see the quality in person.

Note:  We were fortunate to acquire, in an opportunity of a lifetime, 11  amazing vintage TYPE I "Psycho" photos (and a few 1965 re-release photos) that were used to promote this Hitchcock masterpiece in 1960. . Most are simple breathtaking with striking sharp detail and contrast.   Each photo is listed separately and can be viewed from the link below:

Vintage gelatin silver, single weight, glossy finish photos. Starring Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, Vera Miles, John Gavin, Martin Balsam, John McIntire, Simon Oakland, Vaughn Taylor, Frank Albertson, Lurene Tuttle, Patricia Hitchcock, John Anderson, Mort Mills, Alfred Hitchcock, Frank Killmond, and Ted Knight. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Unrestored photos that display signs of use. May include slight edge wear, small tears, minor surface scuffs.  Several of the photos have snipes and ink stamps on the verso.
