Gorgeous Sherlock Holmes vintage movie poster insert!  Spectacular graphics and artwork on this very scarce original insert movie poster (14x36) for the Universal Pictures presentation of "Dressed To Kill" starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. This would be their final screen appearance as the famous crime solving duo. In this entry in the series, they must battle a gang of crooks led by a beautiful woman (Patricia Morison) trying to get their hands on three music boxes which hide the location of stolen Bank of England printing plates.

Excellent condition with just the typcial fold lines (about 90% of all original inserts were folded prior to shipping to theaters)

A nefarious criminal has hidden stolen Bank of England engraving plates in a series of music boxes, and it's up to Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson (Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce) to find them before they can fall into the wrong hands in this highly entertaining mystery, the final entry in the long-running Holmes series. 
There isn't much original paper available for the final installment of Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce's Sherlock Holmes movie series. Fortunately for fans of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famed detective, the poster is in nice condition and shows mild indications of use like edge and fold wear, paper tape on the verso along couple of the folds and edges.

Sherlock Holmes is on the job again trying to find engraving plates that have been stolen by a British inmate and hidden inside a series of music boxes. Several criminals are also trying to locate them and Holmes must get there first. The final film in the Holmes/Watson series and the end of the legendary teaming of Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce. Poster material for the Sherlock Holmes series is among the most collected in the hobby.

Hollywood took a gorgeous, very talented mezzo-soprano stage actress and insisted on casting her in villainous femme fatale roles. She graces this insert wonderfully, ably illuminating the title and wearing a color-coordinated hair band, gloved evening dress, white fur coat... and holding a revolver! This was the last installment in one of the most popular series ever filmed. Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) and Dr. Watson (Nigel Bruce) are beautifully featured on this poster.
