Exceptionally nice vintage title lobby card from this classic western starring a young 29 year old John Wayne.    Terrific graphics and vintage movie art and in excellent condition with just expected border wear for an 80 year old movie poster!
Extremely rare as only one other has ever appeared on the market.

Marcus, Bob Burns, Rodney Hildebrand, Eugene Jackson, Floyd Shackelford, and Nina Mae McKinney. Directed by Joseph Kane. An unrestored title lobby card that displays signs of use.

 John Wayne stars in one of the many Republic Westerns he did before "Stagecoach" made the difference in his career. Wayne is a lawyer who comes back to his home town to take down the crooked rancher who killed his parents.

Herbert Yates, the Republic Boss, came to Hollywood from New York City where he was a stockbroker and began Monogram Studios. His "formula" for making money in the film industry was actually quite simple: "a film should make back at least three times of what it costs to make". Thanks to a bankable and dependable John Wayne, Yates was seldom disappointed. Posters from these early Republic films have always been hard to find, and are becoming even more so.
